Mission of Scouting

The mission of Scouting is to contribute to the education of young people through a value system based on the Scout Promise and Law, to help build a better world where people are self-fulfilled as individuals and play a constructive role in society.  1st Vaudreuil offers four programs for our youth ages 5 to 17.

Assistant Leaders needed for all sections.  If you are a student over 18 years of age, or a parent that would like to see their child flourish in the experience of scouting, and you possess a love of children and the outdoors this is the perfect adventure for you and your family.  For more information on becoming a scouter, kindly contact our Group Commissioner, John Costello at 514.757.3637 today.   Thank you!

Section Ages

  • Beaver Scouts Ages 5 to 7  Friday Evenings 6:15-7:15pm
  • Cub Scouts     Ages 8-10    Friday Evenings 7:00-8:45pm
  • Scouts  Ages 11-14  Monday Evenings 6:30pm-8:30pm
  • Venturer Scouts Ages 14-17 Monday Evenings 7-8:30pm


All registrants benefit from camp fee rate reduction at Scouts Canadas’ Camp Tamaracouta (http://www.tamaracouta.com/en/contact-us) for the summer.

Registration fees for all children $250.00.  Online registrations are open.  For more information please contact Kathleen Chassé at registrar@1stscout.com.

New registrants, please advise leaders on site of any allergies your children may have. Children should be dressed for the weather,  have a water bottle and indoor gym shoes for every meet!
